At our elementary schools, the future begins with a strong foundation in learning. Dear Edison-Monroe Families,

Welcome to an exciting new school year! On behalf of our entire staff, I am delighted to welcome you to Edison-Monroe, where two wonderful school communities will come together in learning. This is a special opportunity to build new relationships, celebrate our shared strengths, and create an outstanding learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.

Our teachers and staff have been working hard to prepare for a successful year filled with engaging learning experiences, meaningful connections, and opportunities for every child to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. We are committed to ensuring that all students feel safe, supported, and excited to come to school each day.

We invite you to kick off the school year by joining us for our Meet & Greet on Friday, August 7. Families are welcome to:

This is a wonderful opportunity to meet our staff, connect with community partners, and gather important information to help your family start the year with confidence.

Free Summer Meals Now Available Across SAUSD

SAUSD’s Summer Meals Program is now underway, providing free breakfast and lunch to youth 18 and under, as well as eligible adults with disabilities.

With more than 60 locations across the District, families can access nutritious meals throughout the summer at convenient neighborhood sites.

Community members are encouraged to visit a nearby location and take advantage of this valuable resource.
